TIMELINE: Hire in May to begin full-time work in June.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Place Corps is seeking a full-time pair of stewards for the Place Corps Kingston Fellowship in Kingston, NY. This job description outlines the roles, responsibilities, and opportunities that apply to both leadership roles. Throughout the application, we will ask you to tell us whether you think you are better for Steward A or Steward B role (or either!) as described below:

  • Steward A: This Fellowship Leader is naturally extroverted, with a mind for building structures, relational, and loves the in-person work of facilitation, group project execution and managing fellows and dynamics that arise. This position can be considered as more front-facing. 

  • Steward B: This Fellowship Leader is naturally process-oriented, manages details, and communicates clearly and effectively with all partners and fellows. This person also loves to facilitate and engage with fellows, may be described as nurturing and really thrives in the work that powers the fellowship behind the scenes. 

These roles will have plenty of overlapping responsibilities and we may find a team where both stewards flow between the outlined roles we’ve offered. Together, the stewards are responsible for co-facilitating the Kingston Place Corps fellowship program. These stewards will also be the primary contacts for the fellows throughout the program.

The fellowship stewards are ambassadors of Place Corps values at all times.
