ROLE REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds. First aid certification is required but may be obtained after hiring. Applicants must be experienced enthusiastic creative educators and community organizers.
Requirements include:
Resident of Kingston, NY with a regional network of relationships throughout the Hudson Valley
Comfortable with public speaking, group facilitation, community engagement, outreach and organizing
Experience in and commitment to anti-oppression, conflict resolution, and experiential education
Experience working in leadership roles with youth
Experience writing curriculum and syllabi, assessing learning outcomes, and managing learning programs
Microsoft Office and Google Drive proficiency
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Detail and solution-oriented
Tools: Quality Laptop and smartphone
Preferences include:
Higher education degree
Knowledge of and passion for whole systems design processes
Any experience in design and building, basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing, or other relevant practical skills included in the PC curriculum
Experience with organic farming (preference for urban farming or homesteading)
Multilingual
The fellowship stewards work a 40 hour work week from Monday-Friday with occasional weekend programming
