The Place Corps Kingston Fellowship is a 10 month place-based fellowship program for 16 Kingston residents in transition. This fellowship helps support developing next steps to the question: now what?

Launching in 2022, 16 fellows will explore their possibilities as co-creators of the future. Place Corps learning happens with real-life applications supported by a network of local experts and professionals working in fields like: Entrepreneurship & Finance, Urban and Regenerative Farming, Storytelling & New Media, Community Organizing, Design-Build, the Arts and others.

A Year to Grow:

Place Corps Kingston Fellowship is radical training rooted in the practical skills to thrive now and transition to the future we are co-designing.

These practical skills include:

  • Universal life skills

  • Universal work skills

  • Personal practices for resiliency 

  • Vocabulary of possibility

  • Connection to place 

。・:*:・゚’★ Fellows develop projects, presentations, and proposals during the 10-month fellowship that prepares them for next steps post-fellowship. Place Corps has identified four key trajectories post-fellowship completion:
