Water Chestnut Cleanup Day! Read on for details from Germantown Waterfront:

Come help us make a path through the young plants to the channel. This invasive species can completely clog Cheviot making the docks and launch much less useful. This all volunteer effort keeps us all able to get out on the water. Come prepared with a boat or wade in with waders or shoes ready for both water and the sharp seeds below. Wear plenty of sun protection and be ready to get wet! Project starts at 9:30 am and follows the tide out until about noon on Saturday June 12th. 🚣🏼‍♀️
