Suzi Miranda (she/her) is a first-generation Korean American, born and raised in the deserts of Tucson, Arizona. She earned a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona. In 2016, she relocated to upstate New York with her husband and their pug-tzu, Elliot. An optimist and a pioneer for positive change, Suzi brings warmth, curiosity, and vision to everything she does.

Suzi has been an educator throughout her career, working across traditional, alternative, and community-based learning environments. She has taught early elementary school in a one-room schoolhouse, a homeschool pod, and a progressive school in upstate New York. Her work is grounded in a deep belief in the power of community, creativity, and place-based learning.

Suzi previously served on the board of her local public library, where she supported access to literacy, learning, and neighborhood engagement for all ages. She continues to serve on the library’s Advisory Council for Fundraising and the Arts Committee.
