Mark Ressl (he/him/his) is an expert tiny house builder, designer, and architectural draftsperson with a professional architecture degree from Cooper Union. He is also a wilderness educator, carpentry teacher, avid gardener, and an amateur inventor. When Mark isn't leading a group of teens building a tiny house, you might find him kneeling at the base of a giant oak tree collecting acorns to make flour, skinning a deer hide to make leather using ancient and newly developed techniques, or find him constructing a creative prop to be used in a rally with a local activist group, or spot him reimagining ADA accessible designs to be more functional and aesthetic! Mark's passion for learning and creating is only matched by his love of sharing experiences and stewarding others to explore their interests more deeply.

Mark lives in Rosendale, NY with his loving partner Sage. Caring for others is at the heart of all of Mark’s work including supporting Sage who lives with multiple sclerosis as her primary care worker.
