Elizabeth Cuthbert (she/they) is a queer worker, organizer, teacher, and maker from the Cumberland Valley region of Appalachia. She has more than a decade of experience in operations, project, and account management, and has worked with organizations operating at various scales and geographies across sectors of architecture, design, education, housing, community building, agriculture and food security. Elizabeth provides a honed, cross-functional outlook on operations development, and combines curiosity, intuition, innovation and compassion in their approach to leadership, problem solving, and organizing.
Having faith in the power of the collective We, Elizabeth believes strongly in re-imagining systems of education, collaboration, and community built intentionally upon a solid groundwork of humility, compassion, creativity, and a deep connection to Earth. Elizabeth recognizes the beautiful and critical importance of connectivity to our survival and liberation, and is driven by an earnest passion for discovering ways to meet the needs of our human future, now.
When not working, Elizabeth embroiders, makes candles and hangs out in the woods. She holds a BA in Fine Arts & Art History from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD, and attended Parsons in NYC for Interior Architecture.
