COLLABORATIONS
Additionally, Place Corps at Hawthorne Valley’s classroom, barn, and outdoor campus is available for individuals or groups to host specifically proposed projects. We welcome proposals for lectures, artist talks, screenings, botanical walks, music events, dance performances, and other workshops such as art making or writing.
Place Corps classroom is located in a 19th century dairy barn, nestled in rolling cow pastures. The classroom can comfortably accommodate 25 people with heat, ensuite bathroom, and separate slop sink. Our outdoor classroom features a fire pit, zoned permaculture-designed gardens, and active pastures. The upper level of the barn features an open plan and original wood floors. The barn on Place Corps’ campus has been in active duty for Hawthorne Valley farm and Place Corps works collaboratively with the farmers to honor and respect the needs of our shared place.
Please contact Place Corps directly regarding proposals or for more information: info@placecorps.org
