The College Application Process and Materials:

College readiness is a journey which typically takes place throughout your junior and senior years of high school. It involves deciding on whether the college or vocational school route is right for you, selecting which schools and programs you want to apply for, then the application process for the schools you are interested in, as well as the financial aid process.

You will find information, tools, resources, checklists, timelines, and guidance in this section to help you prepare for college and access financial aid.

Application Materials

Now that you have chosen the colleges you want to apply to and the kinds of programs you are interested in, it is time to begin your college application. You will need to gather a number of materials, and this will require some planning during the fall of your senior year, because some of these materials, such as recommendations, your personal essay, and your test score require some work to complete.
